Did you know Apple's Latest macOS Big Sur Update Aims At Making iPad Apps Look Fancy On The Mac and Much More

Apple, earlier this week, first came out with the latest update for macOS Big Sur that consisted of better reliability on Bluetooth and some useful bug fixes.

But seems like that was not all from their side as yesterday, the company has again introduced the first beta of macOS Big Sur 11.3 which is more focused to improve the Safari, Reminders, Apple Music, Apple News, and other apps experience.

With this update, the apps that you have on your iPhones and iPads will also work a bit better on M1 Macs - yes without the touch screen display, as we know that might feel a bit awkward at first.

iPadOS apps have become larger with the passage of time with more advanced features coming into them. Hence, if your screen size allows for it, beta testers will now get to enjoy a new preference within the iPhone and iPad apps based on a touch alternative - the keyboard commands. So, precisely you can now tap, swipe, and drag gestures, or even carry out multi-finger gestures with the help of an option key and a trackpad.

Moreover, Big Sur 11.3 also aims to transform Safari’s start page into something more customizable which means that users can now also rearrange different sections like favorites, Reading List, and Siri suggestions, etc. as per their own choice. On the other side, developers too will get access to make extensions that will run on the new tab page, along with taking advantage of the new web speech API that now incorporates speech recognition on the web pages.

There is also an update for the Reminders app as you can finally set reminders based on title, due date, priority, or creation date. Moreover, with this Apple also allows you to print the reminders when required.

Small changes have also taken place for Apple Music as it now comes with a shortcut for your “Made for You” personalized playlists and mixes. The app will also highlight Live and upcoming special events in the “For You tab”.

Apple News app also had design improvements as with the inclusion of the Apple News Plus tab, it is now a lot more easy to go through the magazines and newspapers that you have subscribed to (and also download)

Last but not the least, pretty much like what is expected in the iOS 14.5 update, with macOS Big Sur 11.3 you can also now attach the latest Xbox and PlayStation DualSense controllers with your Macbooks.
