Study Is Online Paid Media Still Effective in 2015? 

Did you know that 79 percent of users almost never click online ads, and that 38 percent of users don't pay attention to internet advertisement.

What if I told you that personalized and behavior-based ads are not perceived favorably, 71 percent find them intrusive or annoying.

Although, 55 percent say a relevant message is the top factor that'd make them click an ad, and some 36 percent have discovered a new product or brand through an online advertisement, yet 90 percent have never made a purchase commitment or submitted their contact information after clicking on an ad.

This doesn't mean paid media is dead, but rather that there is a room for improvement. If brands want to break through the noise and build companies that successfully engage and convert prospects, they'll need to work harder on the front end.
